Terms and Conditions: Powertrain Warranty Program

1. Warranty Provider

• The “Powertrain Only” warranty is provided by United States Warranty Corporation. All claims, repairs, and coverages are subject to their terms and approval.

2. Financing Requirements

• To qualify for the warranty program, the financing must cover a minimum of 70% of the boat’s sale price.
• The minimum amount to be financed is $50,000. If 70% of the sale price is less than $50,000, the boat will not qualify for the warranty program.

3. Warranty Period

• Used Boats (15 years old or newer): 12 months of “Powertrain Only” coverage from the date of purchase.
• New Boats: 120 months (10 years) of “Powertrain Only” coverage from the date of purchase.

4. Coverage

• The warranty covers only the powertrain components, including:
  • Engine, transmission, driveshafts, and related mechanical parts.
  • Coverage applies to mechanical failures or defects in materials and workmanship.

5. Exclusions

• The warranty does not cover:
  • Non-powertrain components of the boat.
  • Routine maintenance, wear-and-tear items, or cosmetic issues.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper maintenance.

6. Claims Procedure

• All claims must be submitted to the United States Warranty Corporation for approval.
• Authorized repairs must be performed by a certified technician approved by United States Warranty Corporation.

7. Transferability

• This warranty is transferable to subsequent owners during the warranty period, provided the transfer is reported to the warranty provider.

8. Limitations

• Any unauthorized repairs, modifications, or aftermarket parts not approved by the warranty provider will void the warranty.
• The warranty provider’s liability is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing covered parts.

9. Addendum: Engine Coverage

• The warranty covers a maximum of two engines.
• Any additional engines beyond the two will be covered at an estimated additional cost of $1814 per engine..
