The Azimut Grande 30M is where the newest Grande design language becomes a full superyacht platform. At 94′ 2″, it combines five guest cabins with accommodation for five crew and introduces a walkaround version of Azimut’s Infinity Skydeck concept. The upper-level Glass House can open visually and physically to the exterior, creating a less formal relationship between indoor and outdoor space than on a traditional raised-pilothouse yacht.
The second defining feature is Deck2Deck at the stern, which expands the aft area into a larger waterside terrace. Together, those two features make the 30M less about adding rooms and more about changing how guests move through the yacht. It is intended to feel open even though the boat carries the systems and service infrastructure of a 120-tonne superyacht.
The trade is technical sophistication. Pod propulsion, moving glass, transforming deck hardware, carbon construction and a full crew platform create efficiency and lifestyle benefits, but they also demand strong maintenance records and professional operation.
Published factory figures. Confirm every dimension against the individual yacht and its survey.
The Grande 30M uses Azimut’s D2P displacement-to-planing hull with carbon fiber and GRP construction. Azimut says the D2P hull and lightweight structure are designed to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 20 to 30 percent compared with similarly sized vessels using a traditional hard-chine hull and shaft propulsion.
At 23′ 11″ of beam and approximately 120.5 tonnes full load, the yacht has substantially more interior and technical volume than the 26M/27M pair. Draft remains a relatively manageable 6′ 8″ for a 94-foot yacht.
A survey should inspect the D2P hull, pod units, stabilizers, carbon/GRP structure where accessible, and all moving exterior systems. The newer engineering deserves specialists familiar with the propulsion and control architecture.
Twin MTU 1,800-hp engines drive pod propulsion. Azimut publishes up to 25 knots maximum and 20 knots cruising speed. The pod arrangement contributes both maneuverability and packaging efficiency, helping the 30M devote more interior volume to guest and crew spaces.
For a captain, the system changes docking behavior compared with straight shafts. For an owner, it changes maintenance exposure. Pod service history, seals, gear oil, corrosion protection, steering components and software/controls should be reviewed alongside the engines.
Because the 30M is a newer-generation platform, software updates, factory campaigns and service bulletins can matter. Ask for a complete digital and mechanical service record rather than only stamped engine intervals.
Fuel capacity is 12,000 liters, approximately 3,170 US gallons.
The yacht’s D2P hull and pod propulsion are specifically positioned around efficiency, but that does not make a 120-tonne superyacht inexpensive to run. The difference between 12-knot displacement cruising and a 20-knot fast passage can materially change the seasonal fuel budget.
Calculate fuel from the captain’s intended cruise profile, generator hours and real itinerary. Large tanks create flexibility, but they also make every major bunkering event financially meaningful.
Azimut publishes up to 25 knots maximum and up to 20 knots at cruise. The 30M is therefore fast enough for coastal repositioning while remaining designed to spend substantial time below maximum speed.
The D2P hull should be evaluated across the actual speed range during sea trial. Look for trim behavior, noise, pod vibration, stabilizer effectiveness and comfort in ordinary chop rather than focusing only on top-speed confirmation.
The Infinity Skydeck is the 30M’s signature. The upper deck becomes a walkaround environment from aft toward the bow, and the Glass House uses full-height glazing to blur the boundary between the interior lounge and outside terraces.
At the stern, Deck2Deck expands the cockpit toward the water. These features create multiple places for guests to spread out without turning the main salon into the only social center.
Crew circulation and technical access remain separate, which is essential on a yacht with five crew berths. When evaluating a build, inspect how service routes, galley access and crew stairs work with the specific interior plan.
The 30M adds moving-glass architecture and Deck2Deck hardware to the normal superyacht system list. During survey, operate those mechanisms repeatedly and inspect hydraulics, drains, seals, sensors and emergency procedures.
Generators, HVAC, stabilizers, shore power, watermakers where fitted, battery banks, bridge electronics and pod controls should be load-tested. A yacht with this level of integration needs a technically complete handover package.
A 94′ 2″ yacht with a 23′ 11″ beam needs superyacht dockage, not simply a long recreational slip. Confirm beam, shore power, draft, fuel-truck or fuel-dock access, waste service and tender operations at the intended home port.
Draft is 6′ 8″ full load.
Show the Infinity Skydeck, Glass House, Deck2Deck stern, main-deck owner accommodation, guest cabins, crew areas and pod-powered machinery. The gallery should make the new-generation architecture obvious.
Grande 30M pricing will depend heavily on specification, delivery timing, interior package, options, tax status and whether the yacht is new, demonstrator or brokerage inventory.
Because the 30M is a newer platform, warranty status, factory updates and the completeness of commissioning records can affect value as much as engine hours.
Build the annual ownership estimate from the actual yacht and home port.
Pricing, payment and ownership-cost figures are illustrations only and are not offers or commitments to extend credit.
Figures come from this page’s Boat Details fields. Illustration only and not an offer of credit.
Use the yacht-loan calculator to test purchase price, cash down, rate and term before negotiating. On a superyacht-scale purchase, treat the calculator as a planning tool rather than a substitute for underwriting because vessel age, ownership entity, liquidity and transaction structure can materially affect the available terms.
Illustration only and not an offer of credit. Your actual rate and term depend on credit profile, vessel age, loan amount and ownership structure.
The 30M is the new-generation choice between the compact 26/27M pair and the larger 32M. Compared with the 27M, it adds Infinity Skydeck architecture, five fixed guest cabins, more crew and pod propulsion. Compared with the 32M, it is shorter and newer in layout concept.
A new-build 30M is a specification-management project as much as a purchase. Document change orders, owner-supplied equipment, commissioning responsibilities and delivery acceptance in writing.
For early brokerage examples, verify factory updates, warranty work and commissioning history. International flag, tax and ownership-entity issues should be resolved before a large deposit becomes non-refundable.
Send Float Finance the 30M build proposal or listing early so financing can be evaluated alongside delivery schedule, insurance, ownership entity and survey/acceptance requirements.
Final price depends on build specification, options, tax status, delivery location and whether the yacht is new or brokerage inventory.
Azimut lists five guest cabins with ten guest berths, plus three crew cabins with five crew berths.
Twin MTU 1,800-hp engines paired with pod propulsion.
Azimut publishes up to 25 knots maximum and up to 20 knots cruising speed.
Beam is 23′ 11″ and full-load draft is 6′ 8″.
Potentially, subject to borrower, vessel and lender eligibility. A new-build or high-value purchase will typically require individualized underwriting and detailed transaction documentation.
Azimut provides three crew cabins and five crew berths. Professional crew should be treated as part of the normal ownership model.
No. At 94 feet and more than 265,000 pounds full load, this is a marina-based superyacht requiring professional haul and shipyard facilities.
